Village of Light returns to Coronation Park in Loftus on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March 2026 6-9pm, filling the park with a collection of magical handmade lanterns created by local people.
Village of Light is a small, relaxed community celebration, designed as a gentle evening stroll through the park. As the event takes place in a residential area, parking near the park is very limited, so visitors are encouraged to walk where possible.

This is a simple and intimate event celebrating the creativity of Loftus and its communities, inviting visitors to slow down and enjoy the park after dark.
Village of Light is free to attend and open to all ages. Wrap up warm, take your time, and enjoy a relaxed winter evening of light, imagination and community in the heart of Loftus.
